Wall Street Journal quotes TA Planners

TA Planners’ Simon Brady, CFP® was quoted extensively in the Wall Street Journal by reporter Veronica Dagher on teaching clients financial discipline. It provides insight into our take on financial planning ..

Here’s an excerpt from the article:

“Financial planner Simon Brady of TA Planners in New York tells clients to use online calendars that sync to their smartphones or use reminder apps such as Fantastical or Due to alert them to credit-card payment due dates, insurance-policy expirations and tax-return deadlines.

He also recommends that his clients put reminders in their online calendars for several years out and set alerts that will go off on their cellphones. He suggests they keep the “snooze” function on for those alerts so they actually have to go into their phones and turn off the reminders.”
